This channel aims to collect Jonestown and Peoples Temple related things from YouTube into one place, for all those interested in the event like I am.
I was surprised to find out that not many people my age [I'm a teenager] knew much about this event, or even knew about it at all. I believe it's important to learn about this, so that we can all make sure it will never happen again.

"Jonestown" was the informal name for the "Peoples Temple Agricultural Project", an intentional community in northwestern Guyana formed by the Peoples Temple, a group from California, United States, led by Jim Jones. It became internationally notorious in November of 1978, when 918 people died in the settlement as well as in a nearby airstrip and in Georgetown, Guyana's capital. The name of the settlement became synonymous for the incidents at those locations.
