A mediados del año 2006 entran a los Estudios Iencenella Records y graban su primer disco "Subconsciente" y surge la necesidad de cambiar de nombre , dado que ya existían varias bandas que llevaban Dies Irae como nombre.
En el 2007 el disco estaba listo para ser editado, la banda salió en búsqueda de un sello que se encargara de editarlo y distribuirlo, lograron contactarse con dos sellos pero todo quedo en postergaciones y promesas a largo plazo.
Para el 2008, viendo que no aparecía ningún sello y que ya había pasado un año desde que el disco se termino de grabar, deciden editarlo de forma
Independiente. Una vez en las calles, el disco obtuvo buenas repercusiones en diferentes puntos del país.
Se podría decir que el estilo de la banda transita por el Death y el Black Metal, contando con muchas melodías, climas y variaciones, las letras abarcan varios aspectos, siempre relacionados con el genero musical o con el tipo de letras que suelen escribirse dentro de esta rama del Metal, los (malos) estados psicológicos del ser humano y los problemas que acarrean vivir en este mundo tan descontrolado, como así también sobre la muerte y lo que te lleva a ella, como por ejemplo la locura, las drogas o el suicidio.
Durante el 2008 y 2009 la banda estuvo tocando en muchos y diferentes lugares para poder presentar Subconsciente a la mayor cantidad de gente posible, fueron llamados de muchos lugares del país pero no en todos pudieron presentarse debido a las grandes distancia y a los problemas de ser una banda Independiente.
Ya en el 2010 la banda se encuentra preparando lo que será su segundo disco, el que posiblemente verá la luz en el 2011.
English Translation:
INFIRMOR was born in Bahia Blanca in February of 1999, under the name of Dies Irae. The band gave its first show on September 4 of the same year and through the following three years the band remained active (playing regulary for the undergound metal scene from Bahia Blanca.)
After an impasse of almost two years the band came back with a brand new line-up (counting only with two of its founder members: Maxi del Arco and Cristian Espinoza)
In mid 2006 the band entered the studio (Iencenella Records) to record its very first album baptized "Subconsciente". At the same time the band decides to change their name to Infirmor due to there were too many bands named Dies Irae at that time.
In 2007 the album was ready to be edited so the band started to look for a label to release their material inside and outside their hometown.
In 2008 the band decided to self-finance the release of "Subconsciente" due to there was no record label in sight and the album was ready about a year ago. Once the album was in the streets the good reviews didn't took too long to come out.
About the sound: The band as always been walking on the extreme metal path but that does not mean that there is no place for melodies and arrangements, in fact the band has strong melodic influences.
The lyrical aspect as always been focused on death (or what leads to it: suicide, drug abuse, psychological diseases etc), different types of problems in life etc.
During the end of 2008 and the whole 2009 the band played a lot around the country in order to promote their album,
The band is now focused on the sucessor of "Subconciente". This new material will hopefully see the light in 2011.
