It's difficult to believe it's been that long, but I sure enjoyed those old days, Johnny. No matter how good the video, a person just can't understand how difficult the Indy track is. I admit that I miss the days when a person could listen to various engines, and know that that one was a Chevy, or that one was a Ford, and etc. Nevertheless, it is still the Indianapolis 500, and kudos to you for your rides. Coming in fifth is a good job there. Your old friend, Annie.

You know something, the ending wasnt as spectacular as it seemed. Why? Watch the race again. Wheldon had a couple GOOD on Patrick coming out of turn 4, and then he BACKS OFF so he DONT pass her. Then when it got down to 8-7-6 to go, and knowing if a yellow comes out, the odds would be the track wouldnt get cleaned up in time to go back to green, he'd not win the race.....so he HAD to pass her. Wheldon could have run the last 20 laps in the lead, but how much less coverage would IndyCar have got to show that the media darling Patrick was owned in the last half hour of the race??
