Induz - Where Art Meets Heart

What is Induz?
A 501 (c)(3) registered non-profit organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a passion to promote art and culture across the globe.

The Challenge

Art programs across the nation have steadily decreased in the last 30 years and there is even less support for the arts in developing countries.

Why?

Students who received art education scholasticaly outperform students that don't. Art improves a child's early cognitive development, raises self-esteem, and promotes self expression.

Induz Background and Purpose

Art's association with luxury and recreation has pushed it out of schools and out of the lives of many potential and aspiring artists. We are pushing back! Our goal is to bring art to areas that don't have it and to help individuals who share the same passion for art as we do. In 2004 a small group of Silicon Valley professionals launched Induz with the idea of helping other charities, but our goals have grown since then. We are pleased to have students, professionals, members of the community, artists, and just regular people working as a part of our team.

Mission

Induz' mission, "Where Art Meets Heart", undertakes the following initiatives:

- To nurture artistic talents by exposing individuals to the world of art & culture.
- To promote and encourage the awareness and aptitude towards art and culture in young ones by setting up schools in remote areas globally where underprivileged children can learn art, music, dance, etc.
- To use art as a medium to bring diverse communities & cultures together.
- Support art and culture while promoting innovative products from artisans all over the world.
- Encourage volunteerism, spirit of giving and active participation.
