Hi, sorry for the late reply. About Covox Speech Things - I don't really want to get into selling them as I don't really have the time, but you can buy the exact same one premade for 6€ at Retrocables. The site's in Spanish, although it's not terrible hard to find your way around.

I'd imagine they'd be fairly compatible, but that's just a guess. I can't be sure.
Same CPU and similar levels of memory. I'd be surprised if they were incompatible.

While I think of it... I saw Elite for the BBC and Electron for sale on ebay yesterday. 1 disk and 1 tape. £80!!!
