Like my name says I DID miss the 1950's and I wish I could get in a time travel machine and go back to the BEST era that ever was! My channel will have fun videos and things that I love about the 1950s.

I was born in the wrong time era. I love everything to do with the 1950s and collect photographs, books, movies, clothes and music from this time period. I even have a 50's car :)

I enjoy reading about 1950s icons, the pop culture of that time period, looking at photos of cars, Drive ins, Car hops, clothes and everything that went on during the 50's, I wish I could blast back! I also love Old Hollywood Glam from the 1930s,40s and 50s, that is when Tinseltown truly shined and it has never been the same since. I also love anything to do with Disneyland and travel to both Disneyland CA and Walt Disney World in FL. I love to watch the old Mickey Mouse Club shows. I am also obsessed with James Dean!!! I collect photos of him, books, movies and anything to do with him!! I like him so much I own a 1955 Spyder replica that I take to car shows and cruises with my local car club.

Books:
Retro guide to anything... I have tons of these fun books! Retro Housewife, Retro Beach Party, Retro Party planning, Retro Diner, American Drive in movie theatre books and Drive in Restaurant books.. Ive got em all and keep looking for more. I also have stacks and stacks of old LIFE Magazines from 1945-1960 that I oggle over :)

Christine here: Recently on our blog WES BRYAN - MY LIFE IN MUSIC I posted a little piece about the Beatles recording early rock and roll of their heros like Buddy Holly and Carl Perkins which came out on the Beatles For Sale album over the pond and Beatles IV here, in 1964. It was years later that I came to appreciate that the recordings on those albums were cover tunes. I've been a rock and roll lover since forever but it wasn't until I met Wes and he brought that era to life for me that I really began to appreciate the people who started it all. Oh my goodness I feel the exact same way. I feel that I should have been born in 1921 so I could have really enjoyed the 50's. I think that would have been the best time to have been born. I adore the 40's and 50's. You have a wonderful channel.
