I am a close descendant of John Devoy who held leadership position in the IRB. He was an Irish rebel leader from the 19th Century. Who received an Address of Welcome from the House of Representatives while in exile in the U.S.A. He also organised one the world's greatest prison escapes the Catalpa rescue. John also provided the funds for the 1916 Rising.
