I'm Ready Productions was founded by Je'Caryous Johnson and Gary Guidry.
They remain the visionaries behind its growth, and the talent behind its theatrical productions. Je'Caryous Johnson, at the age of 28, Mr. Johnson has over 12 years of experience in the performing arts. He trained with such theater masters as Jose Quintero, Uta Hagen, Edward Albee, Dr. Sidney Berger, and C. Lee Turner. He wrote, directed and produced theatrical productions since his mid teens. Harlem Renaissance , then 19-year-old Johnson wrote, directed, produced and starred, won the first place medal at the Kennedy Center 's National History Competition in 1996. An accomplished actor, Johnson has performed in more than 50 productions including drama, musical theater, commercials, and feature films. In 1997 he performed for President Clinton at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and received the Irene Ryan Award for Excellence in Acting for his performance in the role of Lyons in August Wilson's Fences.
