@andy28277 You should be careful when you say, "engine driven." Technically a super charger is engine driven as it runs off a belt (or chain) off the engine where a turbo is technically "exhaust driven" because it uses the exhaust gasses from the engine to spin the turbine to force air through.

I have a Sunfire making the same noise (minus the ticking but the whining.) Has your engine temperature been going up? It could be the water pump.

For cards like these the benchmark should be run on extreme. Performance may encounter CPU bottlenecks so more stress needs to be put on the video cards in the form of AA, AF, and higher resolutions.

@shinodafan63 Unlike Black and Yellow if you listen about the lyrics it is not just about the car. Someone needs to listen to the lyrics and judge a song's lyrical content instead of the song's name.

@staticxmako I had a 4850 and I replaced it with a 6870. You're looking at almost double the frame-rate from stock 4850 to stock 6870. The 6870 overclocks well so expect to squeeze more numbers out if you need them.

@destiny86510 You're assuming that the Kal-El has the exact same architecture as the Tegra 2. The Kal-El might run more instructions per clock compared to the Tegra 2, so that extra overhead isn't apparent and appears to be twice as powerful.
