Jack Smight was my uncle. He died of cancer in 2005. Check his IMDB for his whole film career. One little thing he told me in 2005 before he died was that he filmed the first Twilight Zone, it was the pilot, it was not the first aired but was supposed to be the pilot. This is a classic film and I'm proud to have known Jack.

Hi, Just wanted to type a short "thank you" for taking the time to post "Charlie" (Flowers for Algernon). I'm an 8th grade special ed teacher and my students and I are just finishing up this story in our literature texts. I have a store bought copy of "Charlie" around here somewhere, but can't find it.
