It would be a good thing if Jameson Durall, the design director from Volition, who stated (very stupidly) that he'd prefer systems to not play used games at all, to see this. Perhaps he'd then get a clue that his attitude is what's turning gamers against him.

You misunderstand. It's not just the written story itself. I don't disagree that the story of BlazeBlue and Guilty Gear are well written and the characters, while not the greatest examples, are well rounded enough so that it works. (Haven't played MK9, so, I can't say either way...

I'm actually kinda glad there's no Blizzcon this year. That means no 'homophobic epithet spouting neckbearded tools' insulting the audience and Chris Metzen acting like a bigger tool.
