Hello and welcome to my channel!
I'll confess it straight away: My name is Iris and I'm an amateur artist, semi-specialized in drawing portraits. I get much delight out of it and I've become slightly skilled in drawing portraits using grey pencil. I'm trying to draw in front of a camera for a few months now. Most of the time it went wrong. Creating 50GB video files, not noticing that I wasn't filming anymore or simply screwing up a drawing. This taught me how to do the job as well as seems to be the YouTube standard. I'll continue to upload my videos with, hopefully, some artistic value and if I'm lucky maybe even a tolerable resolution.
I've already uploaded my first ever filmed drawing. It is the double-portrait of my two most cherished, so called, celebrities Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry. Although I did mess up some of their details by wanting it to be over soon, it is one of my dearest portraits, mostly because of the people represented. I filmed this using my old camera which has an even poorer quality than my new one. Next up will be the legendary artist that is Oscar Wilde (around 30-08-09 it will probably be on this channel). What a colorful channel this might turn out to be.. But it will take a while for I'm always busy -_-'
