Alek walked into the living room where Lethal, Jessica, and Heather were all chatting about various things. He strode over to the couch where Lethal, and Heather sat.
"Um, Lethal can I ask you something?" He said.
"Sure, what is it?" Lethal replied sarcasticlly.
"Did you feed Ryuu, that kid you have, yet?" Alek asked.
Lethal blinked. "I have to feed that thing?"
Alek gasped. Heather sighed. Jessica facepalmed. "Lethal, are you trying to tell me that kid hasn't eaten in six days?" He demanded. Lethal shrugged. "Pretty much."
Alek's heart sunk. How could anyone be this stupid? Or atleast, this forgetful. Speed walking over to the kitchen he began to get some food for the poor, unlucky child that was in Lethal's cruel, and forgetful care.
Ryuu laid on the cold floor curled up on his side. He knew his time coming to an end, he felt in his bones. Everything hurt. He hurt in places in he didn't know could hurt.
'I'm... so hungry,' The red eyed child thought weakly. 'I'm... so thristy. I wanna go home.'
But then he remembered that his parents didn't want him to come home. Lethal said that he was just a replacement for his mother's first child, Keyni. He told him that deep down, his mother, and father hated him, and thought he was a demon since the color of his eyes were blood-red, but they were nice to him anyways because they were scared of him. He implied that his parents secretly planned him to be kiddnapped by Lethal.
At first, Ryuu didn't believe any of this. But... the more he thought about it, the truer it sounded. It all sorta made sense. He whimpered. Lethal had been right all along. No matter how much he tried to deny it, it was true. He let out a sad sigh, and closed his eyes. He was so tired. He just wanted to fall asleep with no nightmares of Lethal hurting him. Lethal had scarred him in a way that would never heal.
His thoughts wandered back to his mother, and the things she used to tell him. She told him that when they die, they would go to Heaven. Or they would be given a second chance and be reincarnated into an animal, or something. He hoped he would be reincarnated. He always loved animals.
Especially cats.
They had such beautiful eyes. Beautiful eyes. Just like his mother's...
Alek opened the door, and speed walked over to the child laying the floorr. He sat down, and placed the food, and water bottle down beside him. "Ryuu?" He said softly. No response. Placeing a hand on the child side, he grimanced as he felt the produding bones from underneath Ryuu's shirt. He shook him abit. "Ryuu? Ryuu!" He whispered.
Gingerly he tried to roll it up to see the real damage. That's when Ryuu whined, and feebly tried to push Alek's hands away. "No Lethal...please...not again."
The brown eyed man let out a sigh of relief. Ryuu was alive. Gently, he rolled the child on to his back, and lifted his head up. He used his metal hand to bring the bottle of water to the Ryuu's mouth. Water droplets fell on the child's lips.
Almost imdeiantly, a small, pink tongue appeared, and licked up the water. Ryuu opened his eyes abit.
