HAHA. Red Badge, oh gosh. I got through that entire unit (very, very terribly) without reading the book. She basically teaches you it.. but you know.. that's never the best thing, to skip reading and rely on sparknotes, for the tests and timed writings.

Okay, well I started and finished watching PMMM today. It was sooo good. I can't even put into words how much I loved it. It's my third favorite of all time (pretty much tied with Angel Beats, but yk,) sooo.. good. bah. loveee.. itt... <3 so my next big project will be clannad, then. and finally after that Kaichou wa maid sama (that I've been planning to watch for like 2 years! oh well)

Exactlyyy xD that means I can finish it in like a day or two while I have this 4 day weekend so I'm not distracted about finishing it during school. I'll try to watch some things during winter break.. (.. although I'll probably be obsessing over RuneFa:Tides but yk, I never really plan well) Clannad is what, 26 episodes or 50-ish with both seasons?

Sorry. But you can never be wrong with something like that. As long as it's something you can support, those should both be fine. Mrs. Ciccone will tell you about a "thread" in your essay that should connect everything together, which is what I'm talking about. It's the main idea that your 3 evidences contribute to, like the impact statement. Don't be so conscious about it! Honors English II isn't just about writing-perfect-the-first-time­-so-you-won't-have-to-edit-it-­later. Rough drafts might seem like a hassle, but they're helpful to organize your ideas. Anyway, don't be "afraid" that you'll "have to start your whole paper over". The essay doesn't have to be *right*. It has to be *strong*, that's all.

Hm, I would go with compare only. We're talking about similarities, here. To "compare" the similarities, find common things in both books such as... motif, theme, characterization, mood, symbolism (that the authors use to CONVEY the same/similar thing). Then, for your thesis, you should have all of these 3 common (motif/theme/things) to serve the similar *purpose* in both novels, as in, they all contribute to a main idea that the authors want to convey in their novels. what would you have preferred then? :P I liked the ending because it was conclusive and blunt and truthful. because they all eventually disappeared, even Otonashi and it solved what they wanted from the beginning the plot started :O
