Username: Igaku-Kusuri

IbrahimHassan isn't my real name. I had just randomly thought of it when I created my account in 2006. At the time I've had been in holidays in North Africa on a couple of occasions (started in Morocco. Egypt was as far as I've travelled to the East in Africa). It was great visiting countries with a completely different culture and religion. I've met some really nice people there too and one of them was named Ibrahim. I liked the name and thought it had a nice ring to it, so I guess that's one of the reasons :D. I've also visited Istanbul in Turkey (coincidentally during Ramadan) in 2010, when it was the European Capital of Culture. Seeing the way West and East mix and coexist with each other there was definitely one of the most interesting experiences.

And a note for some other people... I did not choose this name after some personality with the same name. It's not much of an uncommon name anyway (Had to add this because of an incident in an Algeria vs Egypt football match involving a former player with this same name some time ago, resulting in some people sending me messages...)

I'm mostly an open-minded person when it comes to respecting other people's beliefs, culture, religion, sex-orientation etc. When I can during holidays I like to travel to countries which customs differ greatly from my own and enjoy discovering new and different perspectives. I feel a special attraction to oriental culture in general (but mostly Japanese culture). I feel that anything that is different from the usual western culture is interesting to learn and know more about. I do sometimes get easily bored of seeing the same type of landscape, people and traditions. I'd like to someday travel to Japan and visit other countries such as China, Russia, India and further. I also have a special interest in Medicine in general, but if I had to say which part interests me the most it would be microbiology, genetics or the human mind and neurophysiology.
