Conway Scenic Schnabel Car with Transformer on the former Maine Central Mountain Division

Conway Scenic Railroad Extra 573 crosses Willey Brook Bridge in the first revenue freight run over the former Maine Central Mountain Division since 1983, as a Public Service of NH helicopter tags along to film the event. The train is hauling a Chinese built transformer on 20 axle Schnabel Car BBXC 1000 and an exciter on an 8 axle depressed center flat car for a new PSNH substation in East Conway.
PSNH's high tension wire pilots shows of his skills well, bringing the skid at one point only 3' off the rail head at Willey Brook Bridge.
