The Birthplace of New York City Backyard/Underground Wrestling, The InnerCity Wrestling Federation which formed back in the June of 1993. Which breeded many superstars over the years.
The Innercity Wrestling Federation truly lives by it's motto "This is the place where Legends are made and Stars are born" The IWF made it big back in june 2001 when our first ever televised Free Per View show (Clash Live 2001) hit the airwaves on M.N.N (Manhattan Neighborhood Network) on Time Warner Cable and with hard work and many sleepless nights and countless broken bones, we all reach our crowning moment when we got our weekly timespot on M.N.N (Manhattan Neighborhood Network) on Friday September 26, 2001 the debut of (Friday Night Mayhem) and over the next couple of years we bang out over 200+ shows and some of the most view cable access shows ever. Our show has seen some of the most shocking moments in televised underground/backyard wrestlng history over the years including the Invasion of the LESW, The GWA Takeover, The Battles with NCW/EWF, Big Time Jason's Record setting Title Victories, The Debut of S.C.C, IWF Buyouts KWF, IWF programming on KWF timespot, Ray Sexy's Match of the Decade with Raze, The Infamous night Big Time Jason almost PowerBombs Ray Sexy off of a Building, The Live Studio show where "All hell broke loose", Wrestle Brawl X3 when The Chosen One Jump off a 50 feet bridge and broke his leg, Our New York City Anywhere Falls Match between (Kid Carnage and Phenix) which seen action all over the Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan through the Subway System and many countless other events that have made the IWFNYC what it is today "The place where the action is"
