@jmensticks Thanks for replying :) i was thinking something that's more like a pattern something that can be used in a lot of musical situations for example when i learned the way gospel players use triplets the application is endless its so useful. another idea is to teach us some good exercises...

@MrRyanSams i do know what he is doing now and its good but i just prefer him here in this style of music he should of continued with rnb and gospel. its just and opinion

That's really helpful man thanks for sharing your knowledge not many gospel style drummers share licks for some reason but thanks for giving me a couple of licks and exercises to work on you should do some more from time to time :) peace.

someone has been watching the Kick Snare Hat dvd ; ) this is a really good idea when i do this i try to use rudiments on the 3 piece really helps me get creative.

love the video you both are amazing players real passion for your craft. do you think you could post some videos on your way of thinking of fills as in what kind of groupings you use and where you place them. peace

@FloodTheDrummer gospel music but its hard to learn the in and outs of gospel style of playing the licks are not the hard part mostly triplets and its more of a feel than technique but more of the placement of the fills and accents i have a passion for gospel music but to most people its more of ...

@joeyisfunny he might not be a good teacher but he is the definition of hard work and practice.i have alot of respect for chapin but its 10% pad and snare playing and 90% kit playing tony is unreal he is creative fast clear he is what every drummer should be like and if you call tony a failure ...
