About Me:
I have been working on domestic (mainly GM) cars for over 16 years now. I enjoy it and enjoy learning new info. Times are changing fast in the car world so it's good to try and keep up with it. My 88 IROC-Z has 166k on her but most of the car isn't original. I'm doing a H/C/I swap in the near future as well as buying a 4 main block and building it in my house. It'll be a roller cam set-up and with roller lifters, etc. I don't do Carb or TBI stuff very much, just EFI mainly. TPI, LT1, LS1, etc.
I served in the military for 6 years. I left straight for Army basic training after I graduated at 18. At the time I had an apartment and 2 jobs, with a college scholarship, but I passed on it so I could serve my country. I'm a strong advocate for veteran's right's and active/reserve duty member's right's too.
I served as an Infantryman for 4 active duty years and I served my last 2 out as a reservist/light-wheeled mechanic. I was attached to TF 1-15th, 3rd HBCT, 3rd Infantry Division. I was deployed to Iraq twice in 2003 as we invaded the 2nd time and then again in 2005. Alot of good was done but most of it is ignored by mainstream America. If I had to do it all over again, would I? Yes. Those were the best times of my life and having a family like those in the Army is missed by me.
I've also got interests in other things such as movies, music, gaming and martial arts. I've got a keen eye for who an actor is before I even see the credits. I can spot a good movie away without even watching it. I'm into mostly horror/slasher/war movies. I'm a big fan of hardcore music but also of lighter music too. I'm a huge fan of older games like 8-16 bit games. I own a SNES, regular Nintendo, a N64 and a X-Box system. I also have a DOS-BOX system on my computer that allows me to play all of the old 8-16 bit games like Wolfenstein 3D, Blake Stone, etc.
I trained in martial arts of various forms and boxing and MMA while in the Army. A total combined 13 years experience with it all as well as my combat experience in Iraq and experience with weapons, setting traps, all of those things make me an avid outdoors person. TRUE STORY: I started with it all when I was 12 and did so because I grew up in a bad area and there were plenty of bullies. One of my boyhood friends got killed from one of those asshats and then one day I was grabbed and this neighborhood kid put a knife to my throat demanding I give him my backpack. I refused and he had a knife to my throat for about 10 minutes before finally letting go after realizing I wouldn't let go of my shit. I was fresh 12 at the time and that was what really kicked me into learning how to fight. I stopped doing all of this stuff when I was almost 25 after having 2 bad knees from being injured at work. So now, I just enjoy learning more skills and sometimes I will spar and practice on things that I want to be keen on.
I also love nature, the outdoors, fishing, killing prey while unseen, etc. I'm a big gun/knife collector as well. I collect old military items off of Ebay, stamps, lighters, etc. The list goes on. hey man thanks, I have been busy for the holidays, havent really made any new vids, but I will have a few new ones soon, some prick smashed my windshield night before Christmas eve on my Cavalier. Just actually read your BIO on 3rd infantry. If you ever come through Krum Texas, stop by and I will set an extra plate. Vets are ALWAYS welcome to eat at my table. Don't even knock... just walk right in. I owe ya that much for serving our country :-) Then we can take both cars down to the Northstar Speedway and watch you tear my ass up with that car of yours.
