Bro. Erano G. Manalo, Iglesia Ni Cristo, Executive Minister (January 2, 1925 - August 31, 2009)
It is truly a sad day for all our brethren in the church, as we learn of the news of Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) Executive Minister Bro. Erano G. Manalo's death.
Today, Bro. Eraño Manalo, head of the Iglesia Ni Cristo of Philippines died in his home. The news was delivered by one of the religious groups officials, Bro. Bienvenido Santiago, through the television network Net 25.
Eighty four years old Bro. Erano G. Manalo passed away on 31st of August, 2009 at 3.53 p.m due to a cardiac arrest. Bro. Erano G. Manalo was an influential leader of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) and provided constant guidance to the organization throughout his life time. The burial date of Bro. Erano G. Manalo has not yet been announced by the INC group and his remains lie with the INC Central Temple in the city of Quezon.
Bro. Erano G. Manalo also known as Ka Erdy was the Executive Minister of the INC. The INC on the other hand is a religious organization in Philippines in which Bro. Erano G. Manalo not only held an official position but was one of the guiding stars to the organization.
Bro. Erano G. Manalo got involved in the affairs of the church from the year 1963 after his fathers death and had served various posts in the Church. After taking charge of the church it had become Bro. Erano G. Manalo's ambition to expand the Church to various parts of the world.
At the death of Bro. Erano G. Manalo all the brothers of the Church have expressed deep sadness and the officials of the INC have said that they sincerely pray to the Almighty that Bro. Erano G. Manalo continues to guide the organization in the right path. It has been reported that under the leadership of Bro. Erano G. Manalo, a man of great philosophies, the INC was able to reach its 95th anniversary and therefore after his death it remains the duty of the INC to adhere to the rules set by Bro. Erano G. Manalo and respect the dedication which Bro. Erano G. Manalo had towards the Church.
