About this user

I am a 64 year old mom to 31 children. Yes, 31, but I only have 13 at home right now. My youngest at home is 5, and an absolute doll. Most of my children are adopted from places like Viet Nam, Brazil, Korea, India, the Phillipines, and several US. states. Most of my children WERE considered "Hard-to-Place," because of their different abilities and/or race and/or age. I am a Christian, that often has to be reminded that the Lord is right beside me, as we've had some tough times. Six years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, 4 years ago my loving husband had to be placed in residential care due to Early Onset Dementia, and last summer I was diagnosed with seizures. Through it all, we have had tremendous support from friends, churches, and our community. I love singing with the family, taking pictures of nature and kids, going to the kids' games and plays, sitting back and relaxing by a river with the sounds of the kids' laughter in the background, hiking, walking, and reading when I have the time.
