Firstly thanks for the time to go into this. I'll go into my take in a little more detail. But firstly I don't consider the blasphemy challenge to be well blasphemy. Blasphemy near as I'm ware implies disrespect. In secular terms, I've never met anyone in the army with the rank of corporal, I could deny the existence of corporals. There is no direct disrespect of corporals, just in my sphere of experience, they don't exist.

But lets face facts YT is hardly the right place to collect accurate demographic data or poll for the majority Christian view. Denying the holy spirit simply isn't enough to be considered blasphemy at least according to the the Catholic Catechism. You don't believe in a concept that Christians them selves are fuzzy on, big deal.

Near as I'm aware, the worst he can be accused of is being a member of the Hitler youth, which was mandatory for 13yo boys, and being drafted in the Army, and deserting. However his involvement in the Vatican cover up seems to be accurate. I'm all for being critical of the the pope, but near as I'm aware, he wasn't important enough to commit war crimes except desertion. There are other issues that need be addressed.

I too am vague on it, but they don't consider denying the existence to be blasphemy, cause it's not. Good marketing campaign though, I'll give you that, but it's not based in real Catholic dogma and the meaning of that passage is disputed among Christians, and various translations.

They are Translations with imprimatur, as in "perfect without error" at least within the Catholic church. The BC pulles their wording from the ISV. You can look up various translation and it's tossup between eternal sin, just danger of eternal damnation. I think attributing acts to the devil are considered blasphemy. See Matthew 12:22-32 That's the only place I see it clearly defined.
