It as a real pain when I (living in Australia) discovered Dark Cloud would never hit Australian retailers. I ended up having to hire it; best 3 days I'd spent on PS2 until Kingdom Hearts came along. I was... maybe 11 or 12. It upsets me that Australia misses out on so many VG titles.
