This is the official YouTube channel for the website IBSLife.net.

The website is run by a group of ordinary friends who are living with IBS every day.

We hope it will benefit fellow sufferers of IBS, and help the people who live with them to understand more about it.

We share accounts of how we cope, and offer practical suggestions of help and reassurance to those living with this awful condition.

We know that IBS can dominate every aspect of our lives, which can seem excessively restrictive to those who do not suffer with it, or understand it fully.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome has many different manifestations, and none of them are pleasant. It can also be very painful, which causes the sufferer to worry all the more.

Through our website and this channel we share our IBS experiences with you, and discuss the changes we have been forced to make due to them.

We talk frankly about the knock-on effects, and offer some positive solutions to them including how to deal with lack of self esteem, low confidence, anger, depression, and the feeling of entrapment.

Let's face it, none of us wish to tailor our lives around our stomachs, or to have the things we once took for granted curtailed, yet we often feel forced to do this, to feel safe and in control.

We are just a group of ordinary people who have created a website because we know that so many others, all over the world, are enduring exactly the same as us.

Our message is simple, and is of hope and reassurance.

Join us on our journey as we discover that Irritable Bowel Syndrome, despite being an inconvenience, with the right approach and some simple self help techniques, does not have to take over your life.
