The "Fad" was just the name IAM or IMMA, where people made an account starting with IAM, and ended it with a Character they wanted to RP as such as me, I roleplay as that Huge robot Boss, in Mother 1/earthbound Zero.

At this point of time, the "Fad" Is dieing, people are leaving, because Newer accounts don't roleplay and do it for the fame of being iam.
However I don't see it as a Fad, i see it as a name, and a thing to do.
I have NO clue were it orgionated... maybe you... maybe some kid with a bright Idea.... I have no clue, since most of the older Iams are gone...
