Some might think of the eighties when listening to LOVECAT, of New Order, OMD or even the Pet Shop boys in their glory days, and David Haering, alias LOVECAT won't deny that he grew up loving this music. His art is a kind of tribute to his heroes as well as his desire to bring the sound of this golden electropop era to the here and now. A very personal transformation; there is no role playing here, just pure unadulterated emotion.

Let others lead revolutions, in the meantime LOVECAT is embracing the world from Vienna outwards with four bittersweet, melancholy pop songs. The sound feels equally suited to the avant-garde music club scene as to the catwalk or making love on the comfy sofa at home.

There's nothing more to add other than that the debut LP release is planned for spring 2012.
