Who were we before this?
Before name and face
encapsulated our vast being into boxes of colour and race.
We are as old and wise and grand as the universe itself. Long beyond the colours of our eyes fade, will we see,
Where the misty past meets the brilliant future, we will always be.
One day these eyes will set with The Sun,
But it is only our perceived horizon which decides where The Sun sets or when we are done.
From a higher perspective a star's light ever shines on
And though the oldest star will have its final day,
Its light expands eternally, uninterrupted in any way.
We too will shine on in eternal bliss.
And so what of the ever expanding evolutionary light of a star?
We are made of this.
