Difficult runway but no excuse for that. He touched down in the last 1/4 of the runway! That aircraft has plenty of power, he could have aborted that landing and performed a go around all the way until about :31

@jizzmonger spins are not hard at all on the airframe. If you practice spins, you will learn to recognize when you may encounter one inadvertently. A pilot who has not spun an airplane before would probably get scared and seize up... a pilot who is comfortable spinning a plane would be more likel...

Last minute before Cessna 172 crash into a house.

Pilot error , full flap take off with 4 presons onboard.
Nobody died , pilot stay in hospital for 2 days and walked...

@jizzmonger probably too low or in airplanes not approved for spins. Get plenty of altitude, spin a plane that is FAA certified and approved for spins, follow the procedures in the POH and you can safely spin all day long.

a rather difficult landing technique, that only low houred pilots are allowed to do...

pretty sure it was not a 700fpm touchdown. there was a little flare. Navy aircraft can only handle the 700fpm touchdowns because they have massive landing gear made to absorb the shock

you can slip w flaps extended. how else would you land it in a crosswind?
my 10,000hr instructor taught me an emergency descent in a 152 should be 85kts, full flaps, full slip. You'll drop like a rock.
