Humana is a Chilean Posthardcore metal Band formed by 4 classmates from a music school in Santiago. By Matias Figueroa, Christian Valejos, Pablo Martinez and Miguel Morgado
They recorded their "EP 2005" and grew fast in the Chilean Underground Rock scene. After noticing their good reception, they decided to record their first LP. The year 2006 brought them "Aurora", recording @ Bolchevique Records. Known as one of the most important Independent rock labels in Chile. It took them far beyond expectation. And after releasing 3 videos on MTV they took their first tour to Brazil in 2007. They played with "Alesana" and such resulting in excellent press reviews. In Brazil, Chile and everywhere else.

In 2008, they did another tour in Brazil. Sharing stage with bands like "Strike Anywhere" and "Rufio" in one of the biggest underground music festivals in Sao Paulo; the "ABC PRO HC".

They later recorded thier second LP; "Views". They filmed a music video for MTV and began to distribute "Views" in the US by "Relapse Records", in Greece by "SecretPort Records" and "Travolta Discos" handles Brazil.

They played in "La Cumbre Del Rock Chileno" in 2009, by far one of the most important Rock Festivals in Chile. And their 2010 Brazilian Tour gave them more than 15 live shows around the country. They got to meet and play with Marky Ramone @ the "Ponto.ce" Festival.
Humana is releasing their latest and rawest album to the world "In Case of Ear Discomfort" (2011).
