@noimplant4me Why would God be talking of Israel when the Jews openly deny the plan of salvation through Jesus Christ? I didn't study these passages in detail but it doesn't make sense for it to mean that God would look after what is essentially an apostasised group of people. And on a different ...

@okebaram I agree with that. But gave us prophecy, so he must be one correct interpretation that he wants us to understand. Charles is not the antichrist. The antichrist is prophesised in the book of Daniel, he was to arise out of the fourth kingdom after Babylon. The prophecy gives great detail in chapter 7, and also in revelation 17 on this power. (a beast is defined by the Bible itself as a kingdom)
