This is the first time that I hear this song. I don't think it's so bad. I've heard better but I've also heard much, much worse. C'est la première fois que j'entend cette chanson. Ce n'est pas un chef-d'oeuvre mais c'est loin d'être un désastre.

She has almost no accent here. But everytime she came out with a French song, it was quickly covered by a local Canadian singer and became a hit for them. This one was covered by Claude Valade. Since she was never available for promotion in French-Canada, it was inevitable.
