Notes from an American in Britain:

When you have grown up in one country and end up spending most of your time living in another country, life becomes more than a bit strange. As well as your adopted country, you begin to see your own country from a different perspective. This is why I originally got on You Tube; I thought it might be worthwhile to post on topics with an "Anglo-American angle". But times are bad, and the ties that bind us are strained. The British seem to have lost their own sense of identity and seem hell-bent on destroying everything that made them the foundry of modern Western culture. America has become a blundering bullying simpleton, and is rapidly losing touch with the ideals of its Enlightenment foundations. In both countries religion plays a major part in creating these problems... and on this I set my theme.
