If that's from Pasadena, Tx., it must be for exporting coal..! There are no electric generation plants in Pasadena (that I am aware of), which is on the Houston Ship Channel, home of a number of OIL refineries & Chemical Plants..

Those KCS EMD horns sure sound much better that what newer UP & BNSF locomotives have here in the SW..! (The gray KCS locomotives will likely get the "Belle" paint during next heavy shopping.).

How does the NS train numbering work...? I'm used to the alpha-numeric systems the BNSF & UP have used for years.. Do certain numbered trains operate between a designated terminal & how does one know the terminal without a code..?
