Cutting more taxes and killing off gov't programs helps the wealthy, not the average American.

At the most basic level, we pay taxes for the government to maintain public services that we all use. It's main purpose is not to produce stuff that makes money, but rather provide services that create a safe, productive, prosperous living environment for citizens.
