My hair is 100% natural. And yes it has been a LONG JOURNEY. I am still learning every day what may or may not work for my hair. I cant give a lot of reviews because I am not or TRY not to be a Product Junkie, plus what works for me may not work for others,,,Ive learned that early on.

I had micro-braids put in sometime in Jan 2006. I wore braids for about a month. It was pure hell getting them in and even more so getting them out. I had no choice but to cut them damn thangs out, which resulted in my. BIG CHOP !!! All I kept thinking was What in the Hell I just do??? I didnt know how I was going to wear or style my TWA ,,,,but w/ the help of Fantasia IC Gel and Suave Conditioner I was saved!!!!

What Is My Hair Texture/Type?
To be honest I really dont know or try to figure that all that out. I can tell you that that I have so many different textures through out my head. The kitchen area is more baby fine hair, cute little coils that Play really nice, the crown and sides are more kinky curly that Try to Play nice and the front always Wanna Back Talk, Act Like Brats and do just what the HELL they want to.

What Products Do I Use?
I try to keep it simple. I mix my Suave Conditioner (Soothing Lavender Lilac,,I love the smell) w/ Cholesterol Plus (Strengthening & Conditioning Cream) together, slather on my hair rub my fingers through seek and destroy knots, rinse w/ cool water, shake a few times and Im done.
To clarify I use Baking Soda w/ water mix in an applicator bottle ,scrub and proceed w/ an ACV rinse. I try to do this every week to 2wks.
For moisture EVERYDAY I use raw SHEA BUTTER, Coconut Oil w/ a little Oyin Handmade Whipped Shea Butter that I mixed up in a blender and kept in old containers so its always on hand Gotta Love SHEA BUTTER & SUAVE COND.

What Styles Do I Wear Most?
Wash-n-go, Puffs, Twist, Twist-outs, Curly Fro. I really dont like to use heat nor do I personally like to straighten my hair. Yes I have done it but find it to be time consuming and I dont want to deal with the damage it might be causing my curls. Not saying that I wont ever do it again, its just right now I dont have the desire to.

Night Time Routine?
Very simple a hair bonnet. No I dont braid my hair up or anything special just a hair bonnet (looking like a straight-up helmet head Lol) Gotta get you a bonnet girl !!!

Do I Trim?
I trim my own hair every few months. Usually I trim the ends of Twist. I no its not the professional way of doing it but hey,,,it works for me !

Being NATURAL is a wonderful thing. You have to Love yourself, Embrace it and Rock every hair style you walk outside with. Try to surround yourself with positive people who support your Naturalness, and BEST BELIEVE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL GIRL.!!!!!
