Despite its high price and high resale value, According to consumer reports, the Honda Odyssey receives only an "acceptable rating" on initial quality due to transmission issues and various electrical glitches. According to JD powers, the Odyssey has an inital quality rating of 2 out of 5, below average.

The Toyota Sienna is the most powerful and fastest minivan on the market today and has better initial quality according to Consumer reports AND JD POWERS. It got 3.5/5 on intial quality according to JD powers and above average in consumer reports

Ridgeline vs. Tacoma

The Ridgeline comes standard with a 247 HP 245 lb. of torque 3.5L V6 that is very hard on the gas with only 15 MPG city with 2WD. Initial quality is 4 out of 5 according to JD powers and associates. And with the base price of a staggering 28K, it makes the Ridgeline a very tough sell.

The Tacoma comes with a base price of an easy 15K for the budget and comes with a fuel-efficent inline-4 making 159 HP and 180 lb. of torque and getting 20 MPG city. The opt. 4.0L V6 makes 236 HP and 266 lb. of torque. This gets 16 MPG city 2WD yet has more torque then the Ridgeline. Inital quality is 4.5/5 according to JD powers.
