Are you a screenwriter who's been screwed? Did you trust your writing partner(s)? Why didn't you insist that all parties involved sign a collaboration agreement? Do you feel like a naive fool? Do you now sometimes experience morbid thoughts? Are you "MAD AS HELL..." but have decided to take it some more? Have you lost your passion? Do you seek vengeance? Will you settle for justice? Or a pay-off? Who did this to you... and why? Was it a reader? A literary agent? A "writer?" A "friend?" Do you even know?

It is a place, I hope, where other beaten-down scribes like myself will come to squawk, gripe, bitch, and moan about their horrific experiences working as a writer in Hollywood.

If you're a film or TV writer, successful or not, who has been ripped off, I want to hear your story (stories). Vent here. Let this be the end of masochism and the beginning of self-empowerment. Do not take your anger out on your friends, family or neighbors. Do not explode during a job interview!!! Bottling things up is not healthy for you or your loved ones. And if you're not careful, you might find yourself turning to alcohol or drugs... or worse, obsessive MySpacing and murder. If you don't let go here, please see a trained professional.
