It sounds like you dislike poor dog ownership as much as I do. You certainly don't seem much like your hatemonger "friend"-If you want to drop him and friend someone with more similar and rational goals for dog ownership-I'd gladly accept you as a friend....

believe me-I hate bad dog owners probably more than you. I have 2 Pitbulls and they are very well behaved know ALL the nieghborhood kids and are great dogs. Unfortunatly I fall under a lot of extra scrutiny because of the bad owbers of this breed. I feel the impact of bad Pitbull owners almost every day when I get dirty looks peoples nasty comments ect. I am not part of that group and certainly don't want to ever be lumped in with them.

Sounds like you have a problem with bad dog owners(I say dog because if it was German Shepards or another breed you probably wouldn't like being attacked or the irresponsible owners any better). I lived in Atlanta for a decade and had to brandishl my gun on members of a particular ethnic group to protect myself more than once and don't hate all of them. But was sure glad I wa armed when it was go time.
