If you are under the age of 30,you should be able to hear a high pitch noise,if your older then that,you probably can't hear it...
I'm 32 and I hear it. It sounds like an old CRT monitor that is on. In fact in elementary school I could help the computer lab teacher pinpoint which monitors were still on at the end of the day by following this same noise.
