Not my favourite voice in the world, but he hits the rhythm just right, and takes a huge risk by MCing over a legendary song with an erratic tempo. This is high-quality modern hip hop. Plus it's genius to use the rail tracks near Dupont in Toronto as a backdrop.

Back when I was into this album this was the track that had the most crossover appeal among non-fans. I swear it would have been a classic hit if OLP were American, or better known in the States in those days. Also chalk me up as one of those people that think this was their best album, though ...

Not a Rage fan, but the whole Renegades album is solid. You don't have to like the covers as much as the originals...that's not the point. The shout-outs to 80s hip hop icons was especially cool...I remember all those guys from my childhood when it was all fresh and new.

Ugh...that sounds seriously horrible, though an A for effort is warranted. The iPad holds out much more promise as a virtual synth and virtual drum machine, though the apps that have come out so far have mostly been expensive toys. Still, give the thing a chance and I think it will impress.

This and Kanye's Heartless, I keep going back and forth watching them over and over. And Cudi co-wrote Heartless, so I guess that makes sense.
