@ZoomingAndy I missed the intro and only caught the name of the band; I knew I had it on an LP and I've been looking for it. I'm amazed that I remembered the song title correctly!

Indeed, and I can recall an radio interview they did at the time where they insisted it wasn't a send-up but a tribute. We were not convinced.

I've added the notes for other people looking in reallyl. The Ableton s/w will, as you say, take a bit of learning. I'm waiting to see what the restrictions on it are compared to the full version. If it's a bit too "lite" I might stick with Tracktion for now.

Around the time this single was released, Radio One was running a celebrity DJ programme on which some famous person would get to be a DJ for an hour (IIRC). When Elvis Costello was on, he played Tango in Mono and said it should have been number one. And how right he was.
