Established in 1993, Hiking NZ began running unique hiking safaris. Since then we have expanded to promote what we believe are the best of New Zealands hikes and adventures.

We have been recognised by New Zealand Tourism, winning awards for Adventure, Eco-tourism and Service to the Environment, culminating in the presentation of the Distinction Award.

Our customers share our passion for active travel, wild places and their conservation, travelling in small groups, and having fun with like-minded people.

We are committed to using our business to support conservation and environmental projects. To date over $60,000 has been donated to New Zealands endangered Hectors dolphin, through our Wildlife Research Fund. For every sale we donate $5 to this fund.
