I was in a record store in the Costa Mesa Mall in Costa Mesa, CA Spring of 1985. I heard this playing in there. I hadn't bought a CD player yet, but bought the CD as I knew I was going to. When I returned home I bought a CD player right off so I could hear this again.

Blackmore is awesome. Whether it be with Deep Purple, Mandrake Root, Rainbow or with Candace and Blackmore's Night. As said earlier, one of the best musicians of the second half of the 20th centure and at least the first quarter of the 21st :)

I love all of the BOC stuff, but this song, is so cool. And the concept of the entire album goes back to Career Of Evil and THE SUBHUMAN...

Being from a small town in Missouri, this song rings so true with me. Mid 1970's just out of High School, hanging around town, makin' a little money haulin' hay before I headed off to College. This song certainly was that summer. Hard work, fun, friends I knew I might never see again..
