Nicola Roberts has had a massive whirlwind of a career, since competing on "Popstars: The Rivals", she and Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle became Girls Aloud, notching up a staggering 20 consecutive Top 10 singles on the UK's Singles Chart, selling out arena tours all across the UK, and becoming Britain's favourite girl group in recent years.. TIll they went on their ever-extending hiatus in 2009. The girls took a break from music in 2009, where Cheryl Cole released her debut album "3 Words" to much success while Nadine Coyle had to settle with a tanked debut single and album with "Insatiable".
So far, Nicola Roberts is the third to step out of Girls Aloud as a solo act. But unfortunately, the polarizing debut single "Beat of My Drum" was a very love-it-or-hate-it affair, and the single peaked at a lowly #27. Hoping to turn things around, Nicola is set to release the summery pop tune "Lucky Day" soon, and debuted the track on television at Sainsbury Super Saturday, a star-studded lineup which consisted of The Saturdays, Sugababes, Pixie Lott and The Wanted etc.
Hopefully the Ginger Princess gets truly lucky with her second single. This is in HD, enjoy!
