Heaven is the eternal home of those who have trusted Christ as their Savior. The Bible tells us that "...that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption (mortal bodies) inherit incorruption (glorified bodies). (1 Cor. 15:50) There are books being published in which the authors claim to have been in Heaven (and sometimes Hell!) and returned; but, we find in James 2:26, "The body without the spirit is dead..." Those who have had a glimpse of the glories of Heaven, such as the Apostle Paul (2 Cor. 12:2-4), or Lazarus, all later died and their souls and spirits went to Heaven. We Christians who are still living, and those who have gone on to be with the Lord, await the Rapture, for "...our conversation (citizenship) is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: (20) Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (Phil. 3:20-21) In this series of messages, Dr. Younce will cover topics such as: Who created Heaven? Where is it located? Who lives there? What is it like? What happens after we get there? The question of "Who gets to go there?" is easily explained by that famous verse John 3:16. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
