I'm a Freemason and a Deist, which means I side with atheists and agnostics on almost every socio/political topic. I say Deist, because it's difficult to be a freemason without some kind of belief. I don't believe this so-called creator, if existant, has a personal interest in this planet on the edge of a spiral arm of the milky way galaxy. I only believe in some intelligence behind it all....It's not something I know, but just have a hunch about. I abhor fundamentalism in every form. IT's a way to enslave people mentally, emotionally and physically. It's a stunt to the natural growth of collective intelligence, and I believe if there is any way to understand any God, it's through science. I'm a theological scholar, which is somewhat an irony, however I study the texts that were not included into the canon, and where some of these traditions came from. These are the things I'm most expert on:
long time advocate for victims of crime. I've worked in a victims' assistance agency for years, set up the training of new volunteers, sat on the board of directors, served as a support group facilitator, served as the office manager, served occasionally as the agency's "victim/witness advocate," served as evening shelter advocate, and finally served as the agency's crime victim statistician.
