His music has been getting people up and dancing at parties across the globe, even making the reluctant party goer lose all inhibition and screw a light bulb or two.

Panjabi By Nature often referred to as PBN and the Hitmaker is a Midlands, UK based music producer.

PBN has produced 4 solo albums and 4 collaborations and in early 2009 released one of this years best selling albums titled Homegrown. He is well known for his chart topping Bhangra tracks Jaan Panjabi, Nachdi, Nain Preeto De, Aaj Me Peeni and more recently his number 1 smash hit tracks Aashiq and Dancefloor.

PBNs music has also taken him all over the world including performances in Norway, India, Dubai, Germany, Canada and America.

BACKGROUND

From a young age PBN started learning music production and engineering through a number of local recording studios and working with one of Beverley Knights music producers Keith Dilworth. During his late teens, PBN started producing his own music. He then went on to team up with Dhesi Vibes, who later became Limitless Records. In 2003, PBN released his debut album titled Next Episode followed by Settin the Standard in 2004. The track Nain Preeto De from the album held the number one spot for over four weeks on the BBC Asian Network chart.

Taking things further, in 2005, PBN set up his own recording studio in his hometown of Wolverhampton. His third solo album Ready or Not was also released that year. The album included Aaj Me Peeni, which went on to become a dance floor anthem.

In 2007 PBN released one of todays most recognised Bhangra songs titled Jaan Panjabi. Jaan Panjabi hit the number 1 spot on the BBC Asian Network and held the position for over 5 weeks.

This year PBN has been living up to his reputation. The release of Aashiq and Dancefloor topped charts across the UK and are two of the biggest songs at the moment and there is no end in sight to their popularity. With his infectious melodies and catchy hooks it plays on the popular perception of PBN as a producer of dance floor hits.

Taking his career a step further and his latest album a notch higher, the real surprise is PBNs singing debut on Sohni Lagdi. This song is being panned as UK Bhangra at its best. With a sing-along hookline and fun melody, the track brings together two of the Midlands finest musical talent. Apache Indian collaborates with PBN on this track and further strengthens the song, giving it a commercial vibe and gearing people up for the summer. A very special and extremely personal project for the producer, the song will firmly place PBN as one of the UKs most talented and well-rounded musicians and artists.
