Not close really. The Beatles could do pretty much anything they wanted musically, rock and roll, folk, heavy metal, classical, even country when they wanted to, and do it better than anyone else......

It just amazes me how these guys were all still in their 20's when they made all this incredible music, including this, their final masterpiece. Their music will be looked upon many years from now as what we today think of "classical."
