The Lupus Center of Excellence provides world-class care to lupus patients from 27 states and 11 countries. It is the premier multidisciplinary Center for patients with lupus and other autoimmune diseases. In addition to core rheumatology services, the Center also offers access to cardiologists, dermatologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, nephrologists, and pain management specialists in its outpatient practice. The Center is a world leader in the discovery and development of biomarkers that help in the diagnosis and monitoring of patients with lupus. The translational research program at the Center bridges boundaries between basic and clinical research. By combining patient information with laboratory findings, researchers find new ways to diagnose and monitor Lupus disease activity.
