You are probably wondering who I am and why I would be interested in this village. My name is David Mason and I live in Tayport, Fife. I am married to Maureen nee Raffan from Gartymore who has been helping me to develop this site.

I noticed that Golspie, Brora, Caithness etc had community WebPages but not Helmsdale, and decided to do something about it. This is my contribution to the people and village of Helmsdale.
